Once a bustling wharf, this lovely riverside park offers a quiet spot to fish or enjoy a picnic lunch. Groups camp on the site. A spacious, window-lined building with a rustic decor is a popular site for meetings, receptions and other gatherings. A wrap-around deck offers an even closer view of a significan bend in the Roanoke River. The park also features a one-room schoolhouse, a log tobacco barn and other buildings.
