This 3/8-mile asphalt speedway features competition in six divisions including late model sportsman. The 2005 season begins April 2 and goes through Oct. 1. Pits open at 3 p.m. Saturdays, practice begins at 4 p.m. and qualifying begins at 6:30 p.m. Grandstands open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Pit admission is $20. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 7 to 12 and free for children 6 and under. Family-friendly facilities include a playground. Find the East Carolina Motor Speedway East Carolina Motor Speedway at 4918 U.S. 64 Alt. west of Robersonville, N.C. From U.S. 64 bypass, take Exit 502 and turn north at the bottom of the exit ramp. At the traffic light, turn right onto Academy Street/U.S. 64 Alt. ECMS will be approximately 7/10-mile outside of town on the left.
